Air Canada, Lufhansa and SAS are leading the wayin mobile boarding passes with specialised smart phone applications.Passengers can check in with their smart phone and receive a code via SMS for scanningat the airport. Only a select few airlines currently offer the service withcarriers including United, Continental and American Airlines seeking toexpand the program to more than 30 airports across the world.
